As with all homeowners associations, we have a number of important rules to maintain the serenity and comfort of our environment for you, the homeowners. As a community, it is in all of our interests to treat each other with respect and kindness. To that end, here are a number of the most important ideas to keep in mind.

Beauty of sunsets and ocean views

One of the spectacular features of Wailea Golf Estates is the view west to the ocean and sunset. Not only is it beautiful, it adds value to our properties. To ensure each homeowner is treated fairly, all trees that are not palm trees must be no higher than the top of the roof of your house. If your view was blocked, you would want your neighbor to kindly remove or trim a tree that affected your view. In that light, take action before you are asked. Show your neighborliness and your desire to be a good community member. This is one of the most important aspects of sustaining harmony in our community. Please take a moment and read more here - Landscaping.

Serenity and quiet

One of the many features that makes our community remarkable, is the quiet we can enjoy in each of our homes, lanais, pools, and yards. Please be respectful of your neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum. You’ll want the same from them. And all outside noise must cease at 10 pm. If you are planning construction, please submit the Construction Form, the page on which additional information about construction guidelines at Wailea Golf Estates can be found.

Guests in our Community

Another wonderful aspect of our community is the homes are for homeowners. There are no short-term rentals. And the homes must only be occupied by the owner and guests. Guests are not allowed to stay on the property without the owner unless approval has been given by the Homeowners Association. If you would like to have guests stay at your property, please submit a request through this form. And please use this option to have guests stay without your presence sparingly. Keep our community a wonderful, unique space for the homeowners.

Recycling and Trash

Recycling on Maui has its limits, so it’s important to know what you can and cannot do. In an effort to keep our community pristine, we can all do our part. You can recycle the following items in the bins located near the entry: corrugated cardboard, glass, plastic bottles with necks (no other plastics), and aluminum cans. Please read more about our recycling and trash here. If you would to learn more about recycling on Maui, visit the Maui Residential Recycling Guidelines.
